The tasting experience usually is comprehensive of: vineyard tour, winery tour, explanation of the production process and the history behind the winery. It is possible to add some food to the wine tastings.

From an oenological point of view, Friuli-Venezia Giulia is a region dedicated to the highest quality viticulture, both of red wines and above all in the production of white wines, which achieve excellent results thanks to the characteristics of the soil, the strong temperature range between day and night, and the influence of the Adriatic Sea.
Viticulture in Friuli Venezia Giulia has ancient origins. In Roman times, viticulture really began in full swing.
The region’s vineyards are fairly evenly split between white and black grapes. Among the white grapes, there are Friulano, Verduzzo Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Grigio, Picolit, Malvasia Istriana, Vitouska. The red grapes Pignolo, Schioppetino, Terrano, Refosco dal peduncolo rosso, Tazzelenghe, Merlot and Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon
Friuli Venezia Giulia boasts 4 Controlled and Guaranteed Designations of Origin (DOCG) and 9 Controlled Designations of Origin (DOC). The most important wine-growing areas of the region are located in the provinces of Gorizia and Udine: they are respectively the territories called Collio and Colli Orientali.
